HIRING PROCESS:
EIGHT STEPS TO ONE GREAT CAREER.

Step 1

We prefer that you begin by visiting our online career center to create a career profile and complete your submission for the job that is best suited to your skills, experience, education and interests. You may also come to our Human Resources department in person to complete an online profile and application. Afterward, you will receive an email to confirm your online application.

Step 2

Depending on the type of position for which you apply, we may request additional information from you to better understand your objectives and qualifications. It’s our way of ensuring that you’re a good match for Memorial Health System.

Step 3

If you meet the criteria for the role you’re seeking, we will contact you for an interview with an email or a phone call. If not, you will receive a letter by email to inform you that you will not be interviewed.

Step 4

The first interview may be conducted by phone, on a Skype/video call, or a face-to-face-meeting.

Step 5

Depending on the role you seek, you may be asked to complete an online interview before a final interview is conducted.

Step 6

If you are selected to join us, you will receive a job offer, including information regarding compensation and details related to certain types of benefits. Specific benefit options will be made available after the position has been accepted.

Step 7

All candidates must pass a mandatory drug screen, background check, and physical to meet the physical requirements of the position. You will be provided these physical requirements prior to a manager interview.

Step 8

Once you’ve created a career profile, your name and information remain in our system, making you eligible for other jobs if you don’t get the one for which you’ve applied. We update our job postings on a consistent basis, so check back regularly to see if other positions are available.

Onboarding

When you start your career at Memorial Health System, you will be welcomed and guided by your manager or another highly experienced professional through on-the-job training and introductory courses and tools.

Within your first months of employment, you will take part in a formal Memorial Health System introduction program that may include web- and classroom-based training, depending upon your position and area of expertise. The career-development section of our career site will be a useful tool as you join our team, including educational assistance and career planning resources.
