Receives initial contacts and makes initial assessments on new unattached agency clients or walk-in/emergency clients seeking emergency services. Counsels crisis clients to stabilize clients’ conditions and prevents clients from harming themselves or others using short-term crisis intervention techniques and/or referral to other support services.

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or closely related human service field from accredited university is required. Completion of clinical practicum preferred.
Must have valid IL Driver’s License, availability of own transportation, and proof of auto liability insurance.
Must be able to participate in after-hours emergency services as requested.
